The members of C.A.R.E. South Florida held their kick-off event supporting small business.
C.A.R.E., which stands for Call to Action for Racial Equality, brings awareness to the challenges faced by people of color in America and stands up to racism and prejudice and is made up of Parkland residents.
The event, held at Smoothie Jungle on September 12, featured young artists, entrepreneurs, and Marjory Stoneman Douglas students.
