Caring and Sharing of South Santa Rosa County, an organization with over 40 years in not-for-profit service, cannot offer its support to the community without the support of local churches, organizations, businesses, and schools stepping up. This support is paramount to the organization in helping its fellow neighbors in need during the holidays. On behalf of Caring and Sharing, we would like to thank the community and all who made a difference; either with their time, a non-perishable food drive, toy or diaper drive, and/or a monetary donation during such a hard year for many. It is through donations and contributions such that we received collectively, that Caring and Sharing was able to help make the holidays brighter for more than 300 struggling families at the end of last year.

We are all better together when we help those in need. It is because of all the generous donations over years that the organization, even with the 2020 COVID-pandemic, was able to provide at Thanksgiving non-perishable food boxes and gift cards (for perishables food items) for families and the elderly in the community. Our partnership with Interfaith Ministries is a great help in providing clients with gift certificates to their store for clothing. At Christmas the community helped to provide the same food boxes and food gift cards, plus new toys or teen gift cards for families with children in partnership with local churches and their Angel Tree programs. Last year, the entire fundraising, production, and distribution process had to change for Caring and Sharing and its clients, but still this community responded and needs were met.

In times like this, we are reminded of how interconnected we all are here in Santa Rosa County and beyond. Thank you for helping Caring and Sharing continue its mission to serve those in need at holidays. It made a real difference in the lives of over 900 individuals in the community after such a challenging year, not to mention a hurricane (Sally).

To support the annual holiday program, tax deductible financial donations are accepted via PayPal or checks and can be sent to Caring and Sharing of South Santa Rosa County, Inc., P.O.
