Along with those ages 65 and older, Minnesota continues to vaccinate pre-K-12 educators, licensed child care providers as well as any remaining health care workers.
In Lake County, however, the health care workers, educators and child care providers who wanted to be vaccinated have all been, according to a news release the county shared Wednesday.
"Lake County Public Health has not received any vaccine for first doses the past two weeks, so we are focusing on second doses," the release said. "That may continue for several more weeks until other counties finish vaccinating the first priority groups."
Of those ages 65 and older in Lake County, 53% have received at least one vaccine dose.
The state of Minnesota has not yet determined who will be in the next priority groups.
In total, more than 64,700 residents of Northeastern Minnesota have received at least one dose of the vaccine. That's one-fifth of the seven-county region's population.
Almost half of those people have completed the two-dose series.
Wednesday's vaccine data doesn't yet account for vaccinations that occurred in the last two days.
Residents of Wisconsin's Douglas, Bayfield and Ashland counties have collectively received another 715 doses, most of which were second doses.
Across those three counties, about 14% of the collective population, or 10,500 people have received at least one dose.
Twenty-six Northland residents have tested positive for COVID-19 and a Douglas County resident has died from the illness as of Wednesday.
Douglas County has now lost 26 residents to COVID-19 and its complications. The county has logged eight of those deaths in February, just as many as St. Louis County has.
Four of the 10 Northland counties did not record any new cases Wednesday.
New cases and seven-day averages in Northland counties:

- Cook — 0; 0.
- Itasca — 4; 8.9.
- Koochiching — 0; 0.3.
- Lake — 1; 2.3.
- St. Louis — 10; 14.3.
- Ashland — 0; 0.6.
- Bayfield — 0; 14.6.
- Douglas — 7; 2.9.
The new cases were among 761 in Minnesota and 747 in Wisconsin. Minnesota reported nine new deaths from COVID-19 and Wisconsin reported 25.
