A Frisco-based health care firm is more than doubling its headquarters in a move to a new building.
Addus HomeCare is relocating to the new Offices Two at Frisco Station building on Warren Parkway just west of the Dallas North Tollway.
The company is currently located just to the south on Gaylord Parkway.
Addus HomeCare will be trading its 31,000-square-foot office in Hall Park for almost 75,000 square feet of space in the recently completed Frisco Station building.
“As a leading provider of home care, home health and hospice services, Addus needs an office that matches our rapid growth,” Dirk Allison, president and CEO of Addus HomeCare, said in a statement. “The Offices Two will give us the ability to continue our growth across our markets
The company plans to increase its headquarters staff to almost 200 people in the next five years.
It intends to make the move to the new location this fall.
Addus HomeCare provides home care services to about 42,000 customers through 186 locations in 26 states.
With the Addus HomeCare lease, the new 210,000-square-foot office project only has about 52,000 square feet of available space.
The new building is a project of VanTrust Real Estate, which has already broken ground on a third office building in the 242-acre Frisco Station development.
“We are pleased to have such an important health care industry leader in North Texas choose to stay and expand in Frisco at The Offices Two,” said Chris McCluskey, VanTrust vice president of development. “Addus has provided more than 40 years of honest, accountable and compassionate service that will benefit our growing population immensely.”
Peery Wood of CBRE negotiated the building lease.
The $1.8 billion Frisco Station is a project of developers VanTrust Real Estate, Hillwood and the Rudman Family Partnership. Along with the office buildings, the development includes three new apartment communities and three hotels.
A new retail, restaurant and entertainment complex called The Hub at Frisco Station is also in the works for the project.
Frisco Station is next to the Dallas Cowboys’ world headquarters and the Star in Frisco mixed-use development.
