Loneliness puts people at risk for experiencing depression and anxiety, two of the mental health conditions that we've seen an increase in as compared to the previous year. According to a CDC study, more than two in five Americans have said they are experiencing mental health issues associated with the pandemic.
David Peters, a marriage and family therapist who has a practice in San Diego, joined Midday Edition on Wednesday with advice for taking care of your mental health during the pandemic and holiday season.
