In an effort to provide respite from the unimaginable stresses due to the COVID-19 pandemic Caring for Our Caregivers donated five tablets preloaded with meditation techniques and exercises to help healthcare workers of a Maricopa County hospital care for their mental health during these stressful times.
The tablets were donated to Valleywise Health Medical Center, 2601 E. Roosevelt Street, in Phoenix.
The Caring for Our Caregivers initiative is led by Sufi Psychology Association, according to a press release.
Phoenix Vice Mayor Betty Guardado, and Councilwoman Laura Pastor, Phoenix District 4, were present among hospital staff and Sufi Psychology Association executives to bear witness to the generous donation.
A volunteer-run and donation-driven initiative, this marks their 152nd donation to hospitals across four countries.
