Grace Point Senior Care Community in Greeley has launched a new project to help residents stay connected with their family and friends during COVID-19 stay-at-home orders.
The Care Mail program allows people to send notes of encouragement and special messages, videos, pictures and drawings to residents of the senior care facility.
“We are dedicated to keeping our residents and staff healthy,” said Jennifer Peterson, director of Marketing at Grace Pointe. “We understand what families are going through during this time and we are here to help keep their loved ones safe.”
The email messages and videos will be shared with residents to help provide positivity and “heartfelt hellos” on a daily basis.
The facility is encouraging community members of all ages to take part in the program — even if they do not know a senior at the facility.
