Lakeview Child Care Center and Hamilton Y Providing Care for Essential Workers - TAPinto.net

HAMILTON, NJ --  While the majority of families are staying home with their children, first responders and health care workers are leaving theirs to take care of coronavirus patients most impacted by pandemic.  To give these heroes peace of mind that their children are well taken care of, Lakeview Child Center and the Hamilton Area YMCA are providing child care services for them.

The Lakeview temporary emergency child care servicespdf are open to anyone who is considered an essential worker such as health care workers in hospitals or community-based care services, and first responders such as police, fire and EMTs, and corrections officers. The service also is available to those who cannot work from home because their business is considered "essential" by the State of New Jersey such as grocery stories, pharmacies, gas stations, mail delivery, essential government employees, or others necessary jobs.

Child care is being offered at four of the Lakeview Child Center locations for children six-weeks-old to 13-years-old.  The Hamilton location at 4 Hamilton Health Place is open 24 hours a day, seven days per week.  Meanwhile, the Horizon location (500 Horizon Center, Robbinsville), Lawerenceville (4 Princess Road, Lawrence) and West Windsor (707 Alexander Road) centers are providing child care Monday through Friday 7:00 am until 6:30 pm.
