The Real Housewives of Orange County show that sharing is caring – and kind of scary - OCRegister

Like a spirit who isn’t ready to pass over into the other realm, Tamra Judge, who’s no longer a regular on “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” just won’t disappear.

That might say something about a decline in back-stabbing or gossip-spreading among the cast on Season 15. Or maybe it’s a factor of the coronavirus-shortened season.

But the Big Fight this week involves Housewives Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Gina Kirschenheiter after Tamra tells Braunwyn something Gina told her.

Gina and Housewife Emily Simpson had been imbibing skinny margaritas and tequila shots — “I can’t feel my lips,” Emily announces at one point — when the tipsy talk turns to Braunwyn and her husband Sean and his fondness for chunky carved necklaces.

After some unkind comments, they decide to call Braunwyn – because Housewives always make good decisions when they’re in their cups –  and Braunwyn promptly lays into Gina about something she said about Sean to Tamra.

When we find out what it was, it’s as underwhelming as Braunwyn — queen of a new 8000-square-foot Newport Beach mansion — seems to consider Gina’s 1,600-square-foot condo in Rancho Mission Viejo.

Sean apparently put an over-served Gina into an Uber after a party and then texted her once she got home to say it was nice hanging out with her.

We see Tamra and Gina discussing this in a flashback. Tamra, always one to recognize a nice gesture, chortles, “You’re the next threesome!” Gina forcefully disagrees.

In the confessional, Gina talks it out. “Maybe I took it out of context, but I’m allowed to think it’s creepy,” Gina says. “Because it is.”

It’s not, really, from what we see, but Emily has more to share.

“Apparently, Tamra had a day off from her master, Lucifer, and she has come to earth to let Braunwyn know what is going on,” Emily says to the camera, totally keeping things in perspective. “Tamra needs a hobby that occupies her time so that she’s not interested in what’s going on.”

The other main storyline of the episode involves Braunwyn’s struggle to accept that she’s got a drinking problem.

She’s 14 days sober when she goes out with Sean for a Valentine’s date, and she gets emotional talking about her fears about her new path.

“I’ve been pregnant, nursing or drunk for 25 years,” the mother of seven says at one point.

And later: “I want a drink so bad,” she tells Sean. “I hate that I made this choice and now I’m like stuck in it.”

She’s only told Emily that she thinks she’s an alcoholic, and that secret looms over other conversations she has in the episode. Then, off-camera, Tamra makes the scene again.

Apparently, Braunwyn’s mother, Doctor Deb, told Tamra that Braunwyn is an alcoholic — well, so much for the anonymous part of that — which forces Braunwyn to tell Shannon before the news reaches her via the Tamra Train.

“I don’t know if I’m ever going to talk to my mom again,” she says of their already strained relationship.
